It’s been a big week for me….I have celebrated my 50th birthday!! I know it’s only a number but when you see it on the front of a card with your name inside it doesn’t feel right! LOL !!! I can’ be 50, really, I just don’t feel that old, it must have been written for another lady, not me! But I guess the ones who wrote in the card should know….they are the ones who brought me into the world, and have loved me longer than anyone else in the world, my wonderful Dad and Mum. For them, having a 50 year old daughter is probably surreal too ‘cos it means they are not so young themselves. My dear Dad is 81. My hubby wasn’t so blunt his card has pink shabby chic roses, my favs, on the front and my gorgeous children didn’t factor my age into their cards either. My youngest granddaughter aged nearly 3, Akiah Lily Mae, was happy to tell everyone how old her ‘Dranny’ was, to her it is just a number too, I am her ‘Dranny’ and age just don’t factor into the role of being her Granny. So there you have it…age is just a number on paper, it doesn’t mean anything else. You can only be as old as you feel…so bring it on I don’t feel 50…well, alright, yeah sometimes I do!!! lol lol lol
